Ausgehend von dem Thema Reibungspunkte entschieden wir uns mit dem Reibungslosen zu experimentieren. Neben vielen Technischen Herausforderungen stellten wir uns außerdem der Frage, wie gestalten wir die nächste Evolutionsstufe des Prinzips Airhockey?
Aircade erweitert den klassischen Airhockey durch digitale Technik um es für neue Inhalte zu öffnen. Durch die Digitalisierung entstehen neue Möglichkeiten, die eine bisher noch nicht dagewesene User Experience schaffen und neue Freiräume in der Spielgestaltung bieten.
Das Spiel legt den Focus auf Geschicklichkeit und Genauigkeit, sodass aus dem wilden, fast unkontrollierten, Airhockey ein Spiel entsteht in welchem Taktik, Teamplay und Präzision gefordert sind.
Das Projekt ist in einer Teamarbeit mit Nils Nahrwold entstanden.
Dieses Spiel ist die direkte Referenz zum Airhockey. Vorteil ist jedoch, dass Tore nicht mehr statisch sein müssen und so ein dynamischeres Spiel entsteht. Dieses Spiel wird gegeneinander gespielt. Der Spieler welcher als erstes 5 Punkte erreicht gewinnt.
Beide Tore bewegen sich und erschweren für den Verteidiger das blocken des Pucks.
Das Tor von dem Spieler welcher das Powerup aufsammelt kann nicht getroffen werden und blinkt.
Die Punktzahl wird getauscht. Alle bisher erzielten Tore bekommt der Gegner und umgekehrt.
Dieses Spiel ist das erste Airhockey-Spiel, dass man nicht gegeneinander, sondern miteinander spielt. Ziel ist es den weißen Ring möglichst oft zu treffen um eine hohe Punktzahl zu erreichen. Die Zeit für einen erneuten Treffer ist begrenzt und verkürzt sich bei erreichen höherer Punktzahlen. Erkennbar ist dies durch einen roten Ring. Das Spiel ist beendet, sobald der rote Ring den weißen erreicht. Nach jedem Treffer sucht sich das Ziel eine neue Position.
Das Ziel vergrößert sich enorm und ist dadurch viel leichter zu treffen.
Das Ziel sucht sich nach einem Treffer keine neue Position und kann somit mehrfach schnell hintereinander getroffen werden.
Ein Zeitbonus von 5 Sekunden wird den Spielern gutgeschrieben.
